Since 2005 David has served as a Board member and Treasurer of Dillon International, a 501(c)(3) international adoption agency based in Tulsa.

In 2010 and 2011 he served as a Trustee (Board) and Finance Committee member of Buckner International.  Buckner is a 501(c)(3) Christian organization based in Dallas with revenues of $100 million.  Buckner provides care and resources for orphans, at-risk children and families in the United States and more than 50 countries.  The second year he served as the Finance Committee member who per Part VI, Question 11b reviewed the 10 Forms 990 that the Buckner enterprise files.

Since 2003 he has served as the Treasurer of the Church of Saint Giles.  The Church of Saint Giles is a mission church that is a member congregation of the Cumberland Presbyterian denomination.  It provides free services to persons with disabilities, their caregivers, and their families.

Since 2008 David’s wife, Kay, has been the Director of Finance for the Tulsa Ballet, a 501(c)(3) ballet company. She occasionally asks him questions about various tax and accounting matters and he volunteers his assistance in providing her answers.
